Late Night

Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn

The second film in Sam Raimi’s legendary horror comedy trilogy once again stars Bruce Campbell as the iconic, quick-witted demon slayer Ash Williams. Friday the 13th

Directed by: Sean S. Cunningham, USA, 95 minutes, Rating: R

In honor of the fact that RiverRun opens on Friday the 13th this year – not something likely to reoccur often – we just couldn’t resist the obvious! And so, fans of campy horror, enjoy our bonus opening night presentation.

God Bless America

Directed by: Bobcat Goldthwait, USA, 104 minutes, Rating: R

When a terminally ill man in his 40s meets a 16-year-old firebrand, the two launch into a Bonnie and Clyde-esque killing spree of reality TV stars, talk show hosts and anyone else corrupting American culture in this absurdly comic farce from director and RiverRun alum Bobcat Goldthwait (World’s Greatest Dad).

Late Night Shorts

Once again, we’ve found a variety of ways to disturb and delight our late night audiences. Including the Oscar nominated animated short A Morning Stroll and two films whose endings will have your mouths wide open in shock, we think this year’s program will thrill those ready for some late night scandal.  Director Michelle Steffes (The Kook) to be in attendance for 4/20 screening

The Brooklyn Brothers Beat the Best

Directed by: Ryan O'Nan, USA, 97 minutes, Rating: MT

After being dumped by both his girlfriend and his band, Alex is in a depressing rut, toiling away at his comically pathetic dead-end job. When he gets the opportunity to leave his life behind and go on a bizarre cross-country music tour with a new, eccentric friend, Alex jumps at the chance.  Director/actor Ryan O'Nan and actor Michael Weston to be in attendance for screenings
