The Gentleman's Guide To Villainy

In just under two minutes, audiences get a short, but vivid guide on how to be bad in this black-and-white gem.  Filled with hilarious gags and fantastic animation, this film gives new meaning to what it is to be a villain.

The Interview

Directed by: Michelle Steffes, USA, 12 minutes, Rating: MT

It’s a tough economy out there for one man, and an upcoming job interview at a radio station could be just the opportunity for him to get his life back on track.  It doesn’t hurt his odds that the world’s population has been almost entirely wiped out by a horrifying pandemic, but still, it’s always good to put your best foot forward!

The Kook

Directed by: Gregory Mitnick and Nat Livingston Johnson, USA, 18 minutes, Rating: MT

A brainwashed sect of goofy cult members, reminiscent of the Heaven’s Gate group from recent history, receives a dubious video transmission from their leader, supposedly an alien from outer space. One follower senses something is amiss, however, and stumbles upon clues that change her thoughts about the mass suicide commanded by her extraterrestrial messiah.

The Salt of Life

Directed by: Gianni Di Gregorio, Italy, 90 minutes, Rating: MT

In this follow-up to the RiverRun 2010 hit Mid-August Lunch we catch back up with Gianni, who is attempting to have a wild love affair in an effort to spice up his life, but instead ends up hilariously and poignantly unsuccessful in his endeavors.

Vampire Gastelbrau

Directed by: Hannah Ayoubi, USA, 3 minutes, Rating: G

When Vampire Gastelbrau finds his vampire fang suddenly missing he tries desperately to get it back.  But he finds the new owners, Gerta and Gabi, not very accommodating and must help them with their chores in order to earn it back!
